The idioms and phrases in Haryan’s local languages have proved to be a rich source of knowledge about it’s social customs, traditions, farming methods and day-to-day living. These sayings become popular due to their sound basis and proved the test of time. Haryanavi language is no exception to it. Many proverbs have been adopted in Hindi language with a slight derivation.
